Why you need to submit BVN & NIN

Why you need to supply BVN and NIN to operate a NET Account

We ask you to confirm your BVN and NIN so we can be sure no one is pretending to be you and you're not pretending to be someone else.

Nigeria regulation makes it mandatory for tier 1 account to have either BVN or NIN and tier 2 and 3 accounts must have both BVN and NIN.

When you confirm your BVN and NIN, we match your details with the information on the national BVN and NIN database owned by the Central Bank and NIMC.

We can’t use your BVN to access your other bank account(s).
